God bless John Autry. It seems like these days, he’s one of the few City Council members who isn’t afraid to speak out against coal ash darling Duke Energy and, as the lone true progressive on the Environment Committee, brings every meeting back from how to appease developers to truly improving quality of life. He was also one of the few (only?) Council members whom activists in the immigration community know on a first-name basis.
