Charlotte likes to go down South — for sex toys, that is. The Reddoor, our venerable oldie but goodie, proves size does matter, as does service. Not only does their selection dwarf new kids on the block Adam and Eve in South End, the Reddoor wins points for encouraging you to play before you pay. Clerks are happy to offer suggestions, point newbies in new directions or troubleshoot, and will gladly unpackage items for you to get hands-on experience before you pull out the plastic and take one home. But Adam and Eve hosts book signings and toy parties, so Reddoor may want to pick up some new tricks before awards time next year or risk losing out to the new booty on duty.
