The movie year of 1984 was such a great one that CL even devoted a cover story to it. Coincidentally, the Main Library’s film programmer, Sam Shapiro, had the same idea, booking a series that included the likes of Amadeus and Ghostbusters. And in true blockbuster fashion, there’s even a sequel, as the fall film series will also showcase 1984 flicks.
