There was plenty of drama backstage and at board meetings this past season at CAST as the company implausibly imploded, but that didn’t stop the actors and artists from producing a string of fine dramas onstage. The best of the lot was this stirring evocation of the shame felt by the oppressed in apartheid South Africa and a moving tribute to the late Nelson Mandela.
