Charlotte has one of the largest Honduran expat communities in the U.S., and an increasing number of restaurants here offer both Salvadoran and Honduran dishes. But the family-friendly Morazan on South Boulevard offers the best tamales de elote (Honduran cornbread), grilled beef baleadas slathered with mashed beans, and hot off the griddle quesadillas oozing with fresh farmers cheese. It opens for breakfast at 7 a.m., too.
