Since Heist opened, it was the gastropub’s “Library Bar,” manned by cocktail sensei Stefan Huebner, that served as a hot spot for quality, boozy drinks. But after this year's recent patio unveiling, NoDa’s slice of the great outdoors became a hub for enjoying refreshing sips like the Texas Mule, a twist on the Moscow variety with Heist-made ginger beer, and the Stow-Away made with Sailor Jerry rum, amaretto, strawberry puree and pineapple juice served in a cool Tiki glass and topped off with an iconic cocktail parasol. The open air and nautical-inspired patio features social picnic seating and charming string lights that beckon each passerby on the block.
