Owner Caroline Cook-Frers already had a strong following with her pop-up trunk show, but in 2012 she answered our prayers by opening a brick-and-mortar vintage-inspired boutique unlike any other in town. The Frock Shop is filled with classic dresses and unique recycled clothing, and dapper dudes will love the selection of bow ties, wing tips and other hipster necessities. Score old and new baubles, housewares and artwork, such as the creature portraits from local artist Robert Wildermuth. Case in point: A flamingo outfitted in designer eyeglasses and a pipe.
