Sure, WFAE's improvement has been gradual, but it's time to give credit where credit is due. In recent years, our ever-popular local NPR station has doubled its news staff (and added a new news director) and developed interesting segments, including "A Trifling Place," a podcast that explores the "ins and outs of Charlotte," like placing the local accent.
