Once you've had a taste of Bar Chocolate, you will know what it means to eat something twice - once with your eyes and again with your mouth. The bite-sized confections handmade by Lin McKay and Mike Shafer are almost too beautiful to eat. The cacao-obsessed duo are pushing the bounds of confections inside their small shop at the 7th Street Public Market. Hand-painted bon bons, like miniature works of art, are bursting with incredible flavor combinations like coriander Pop Rocks praline (with old-school Pop Rocks!) and raspberry balsamic ganache. Macarons, generously filled, come in flavors like yuzu white chocolate and passion fruit milk. Options change daily, according to the whims of the Bar Chocolate boys.
