The prices may throw Block and Grinder's burgers into the upper end of the gourmet burgers in town, but not only are the all-natural, organic meats fabulous, but the toppings have been chosen for maximum taste impact. The lamb burger, the Breslin, is a brilliant example of allowing the flavor of the meat to shine through, while the beef burger holds its own against a blanket of melting cheddar or pimento cheese and thickly sliced, house-cured bacon. Game burgers such as bison and venison are offered as specials, but the vegetarian lentil burger, slathered with roasted garlic aioli, is a regular.
