AZN: Azian Cuizine, which opened in late fall 2012 in SouthPark by husband-and-wife team Raymond and Anna Hsu, is a creative, eclectic approach to Asian flavors in a restaurant where food, drink, ambiance and service come together seamlessly. Even though this is part of a chain of two (the other is in Naples, Fla.), AZN fills a void here. So often, Asian cuisine, specifically Chinese, has been calibrated to American tastes and relegated to mom-and-pop shops in neighborhood strip centers. At AZN, though, the wine list pairs well with the dishes, and the quality of the ingredients is first rate - from the simplest dumpling to their artfully fanned, seared tuna entrée.
