Justin Ruckman and Matthew Tyndall, UNC Charlotte graduates, created CLT Blog in 2008. Their goal was to tell stories about Charlotte and be a go-to source for news and trends. Though now competing with many other blogs, CLT has added to its fan base and increased its content, including more interactive features and video offerings. This year, it launched the talk show 282 with WTVI; originally hosted by former CL editor Carlton Hargro, the show has generated buzz and will live to see another season.
