Not content with proving her homophobic bona fides once, McGarry doubled down in April when she wanted CMS to excuse sensitive fundamentalist Christian students from school during a “Day of Silence,” so they wouldn’t be exposed to the dangerous idea of treating gays and lesbians like human beings.
