For 10 years now, Carolina Smoothies has been satisfying local taste buds with fresh blends of juices, yogurt, fruits and “add-ins” like the “protein pack” or the “energy pack.” Even, ahem, “cooler” is that it’s locally owned, with three other locations. Not bad for a concept that started when the owners were creating concoctions to beat hangovers!
