Silent Disco at Rooftop 210: Forget how stupid you look dancing to music that only you and any others wearing wireless headphones can hear. All the cool kids are doing it, so hysterical onlookers can laugh on. Silent Disco offers a fun alternative to the usual club scene. Headphones have two channels that will be playing the music that DJs Kyle Biddy and Boy Beats World are spinning live onstage. Charlotte Pride Splash Day at U.S. National Whitewater Center: The annual event brings folks in the LGBT community for a day of outdoor activities, music (Mipso performs), food and drinks. Bastille Day Celebration at 7th Street Public Market: The French American Chamber of Commerce of North Carolina is France’s Bastille Day with its own festival being held at 7th Street Market this year.
