Harry Taylor was at the Board of Elections an hour ago to file as a candidate for Congress. Taylor, you may remember, was the guy who told Bush he should be ashamed of himself. Some of us at the Loaf — OK, me — have made little secret that we liked the move, and in 2006 we made him our Best Of local hero.

Whatever you think of his politics, Taylor seems like a genuinely nice, decent guy. Even some Republicans I know think so. But can he win in U.S. Rep. Sue Myrick's heavily Republican district? We'll see.
