From 6 p.m. till 9 p.m., Ruby’s Gift on Selwyn Avenue will host a mini shindig with music, food, wine and local art. The best part is all of the artwork that’s sure to woo onlookers will be sold with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society. Art will be up for sale at Ruby’s NoDa and Selwyn Avenue locations, but the exhibit is only available at the Selwyn Avenue store.

Project Art Aid is a local organization of artists that come together to devise local solutions to global issues through art. This year, over 100 area artists and cancer survivors have put together 100 squares of individual art to form a mosaic heart. Its exhibit at Ruby’s Selwyn Avenue location will be the last place to view it before it’s moved to Presbyterian Hospital’s new oncology unit.
