Stay in the know at upcoming event 'Debut'

With so many talented people living here in Charlotte, it is sometimes quite difficult to stay in the know on all of them. A new event series entitled "Debut" launches tomorrow night showcasing its first two Q.C. Gems. This is the perfect opportunity to come out and see designs for the mom-to-be and sparkling baubles for any occasion. "As We Grow" by 5 Minutes Apart is a maternity collection featuring designs that allow you to mix and match the pieces to create a style collaboration. The interchangeable shirt is designed so that the pieces can detach and be restyled to a tunic, romper or maxi dress. I've seen the design and I have to say it is the perfect staple for any expectant mom.

Kick-off to Charlotte Style Week

The Macy's in SouthPark Mall was all abuzz yesterday with women and men who wanted to be told What Not To Wear by TLC's own, Clinton Kelly. Although the event was scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., when I arrived at 4:30 p.m. for my one-on-one interview with Kelly, the line had already formed.
