Voltaire Aurelio Voltaire Hernandez — musician, filmmaker, author — has woven an amalgam of carnival music, gypsy rhythms, New Orleans jazz and cabaret into his recording, Riding a Black Unicorn. Voltaire takes cues from Tom Waits, and though not as musically adventurous, his compositions are nonetheless intriguing.
