FBI agents apparently spoke to the owner of the cab company that lost a bid to circle Charlotte's airport. Obaid Khan, an owner of Diamond Cab, said agents, who spoke to him for an hour, asked about how his business had been affected by City Council's controversial 2011 decision to limit how many cab companies could work the airport.

Good news for local beer fans: NoDa Brewing is expanding. The company said it has ordered more brewing equipment and is scouting space for a second location.

Just because the cocktail for lethal injections is harder to come by doesn't mean states are halting prisoner executions. Tennessee legislators just passed a bill that would allow prisons to use the electric chair should they encounter a shortage of the drugs, many of which are produced - and protested - in Europe.

Certain types of ground beef, sprouts, walnuts, hummus and other dips have been recalled after several people who ate the products got sick.
