Greenpeace organizers launched what they're calling an “airship” (what you would call a blimp) from Veteran's Park early Thursday morning, giving rush hour commuters a glimpse of a 135-foot-long message to Duke Energy that read, "Duke Don’t Raise Rates for Dirty Energy." The airship has been touring North Carolina since Wednesday, July 25, to coincide with a recent report released by Greenpeace that highlights the positive environmental and economic impacts that would come from Duke relying solely on renewable-energy sources.
