Key Largo, Montego, baby why don’t we go ... to Mint Museum Uptown for its Let’s Get Reel music and movies series? In case you hadn’t heard, the museum hosts this special event — featuring live music and a movie — on the second Tuesday of every month (so it'll go down again on April 12). This week, Charlotte bassist Ron Brendle will perform a mix of jazzy jingles and the 1948 action-packed flick Key Largo, starring Humphrey Bogart, Edward G. Robinson and Lauren Bacall, will be screened. Set in a hotel heated with violent Cuban gangsters, an ex-Major from World War II must continue further acts of heroism.
