Uptown magazine shuts down

This just in from the folks at Trafk Media, who publish Charlotte's Uptown magazine (not the African-American targeted Uptown):

After 5 years and over 60 issues of Uptown, I've decided to shut down the magazine and put all our efforts towards growing our marketing agency Trafk Media.

Thank you all for making the magazine such a success. Its been a wild ride, and I really think that we did something that no one else had in the city. We created a cosmopolitan publication that had fun, portrayed Charlotte in less of a homogenous way and put it all together in a well designed package.

We could not have done any of it without all of you. Thank you for all your support over the years.

So off to the next adventure, we'll take our design aesthetic and unique ideas along with us to our next endeavor Trafk Media. Take a look at what we're doing now.. www.trafkmedia.com
