Although they were found guilty on several counts of tax evasion on May 3, Anthony Jinwright and his wife, Harriett, will not face the judge for sentencing on Oct. 7 as originally planned, and their sentencing hasn't been rescheduled yet. It's unclear why the judge decided to delay sentencing, though it appears there are objections to the couple's pre-sentencing report.
Anthony was taken into custody immediately following the jury's verdict because, Judge Frank Whitney said, he poses an economic threat to the safety of the community. Harriett, however, was not taken into custody. The judge denied Dr. Jinwright's motion for release in June.
