Obama hadn't been president 24 hours before former Bush cohorts like Karl Rove and others started griping. Especially galling were comments that Obama's inaugural speech was critical of Bush's policies. Well, duh. The man was resoundingly elected on a platform of reversing much of the Bush agenda, so what did they expect?
Here are three answers to the right's complaints: 1. If you're a Bush cohort, consider yourself lucky not to be in jail. 2. Nobody cares anymore what you have to say. And 3. Considering the total mess you made of your eight years in power, and the unambiguous rejection of your policies by American voters, can't you have enough self-awareness, or at least the decency, to shut the hell up for a while?
