A body has been recovered from a grave about 4-by-4 feet in a remote area of the Oakland Hills. A prominent computer programmer convicted of killing his wife on Monday, led police to what is believed to be her body. Hans Resier, is well known in programming circles for his ReiserFS file system. He now faces a sentence of 25 years to life. AP via CNN

Iraqi P.M. calls for withdrawal date:

Mouwaffak Al-Rubaie, Iraq's national security adviser, said his country will not accept any security deals with the Unite States without specific dates for the withdrawal of U.S.-led forces. This comment was made just a day after Iraq's Prime Minister publicly said he expects the pending troop deal with the United States to have some type of timetable for withdrawal. AP via Yahoo

Hurricane Bertha hits category 3:

The First Hurricane of the 2008 Atlantic season had a shift in direction Tuesday morning shortly after reaching Category 3 status. Hurricane Bertha has strong winds reaching 120 miles per hour. Bermuda could be affected by Bertha as soon as this weekend. AP via CNN

Number of alcohol poisoning deaths on the rise:

An AP analysis of federal records found 157 people ages 18 to 23 died from alcohol poisoning from 1999 through 2005. Over the span of those seven years, most victims were under the age of 21. AP via MSNBC
