Obama wins Mississippi primary: Sen. Barack Obama claimed another victory in Mississippi Tuesday over Sen. Hilary Clinton. The primary revealed that when it comes to race Democratic voters are extremely polarized, with 91 percent of African-American voters voting for Obama and 72 percent of white voters supporting Clinton. "What we've tried to do is steadily make sure that in each state we are making the case about the need for change in this country. Obviously the people in Mississippi responded," Obama told CNN after his win.

Spitzer to resign Wednesday morning: New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer will resign effective Monday. This comes after it was revealed that Spitzer was a regular customer of a high class prostitution ring and as much as $80,000 over the years. The official announcement came at 11:30 Wednesday morning.

CMS Board approves anti-bullying policy: Tuesday night CMS passed a new policy to protect students from bullying. The policy passed by a vote of 6-3 with Christian conservatives opposing the plan. Students wore yellow as a show of solidarity. Many people, from students to religious leaders, spoke in support of the policy.

U.S. Middle East Commander quits: Admiral William Fallon, the top U.S. military commander in the Middle East, is stepping down days after Esquire magazine reported that he was trying to block military action against Iran. The article's author, Thomas Barnett, had predicted that if Admiral Fallon was pushed out of his job, "it may well mean that the president and vice-president intend to take military action against Iran before the end of this year and don't want a commander standing in their way."
