When can you see a fashion show featuring a local boutique and support a good cause? You can with the 2nd Annual Catwalk for a Cause, presented by Lavendar Boutique, which will raise money for the Martin Truex Jr. Foundation. If you remember last year's Catwalk for a Cause, this year is promised to be even better!

Before we talk fashion, let's talk about the foundation: The Martin Truex Jr. Foundation is dedicated to working with nonprofit organizations with limited name recognition and limited budgets, who strive to positively impact the lives of children in need.

On May 17, from 6 p.m.-9 p.m., the Martin Truex Jr. Motorsports (156 Cayuga Drive in Mooresville, NC) will be transformed into an extravagant evening filled with fashion, delicious food, raffle, and silent auction featuring designer pieces. Lavendar Boutique will feature designers for your spring/summer wardrobe. For the music lover in your life, other items on auction include a signed Justin Bieber electric guitar and Taylor Swift acoustic guitar.  As an added bonus to the already fabulous evening, guests will receive a swag bag — who doesn't love swag?
