Harper's Restaurant Group Announces Closing of HARPER'S TO GO GO

CHARLOTTE, NC...(January 1, 2010) -- Tom Sasser, president of Charlotte-based Harper's Restaurant Group, today announced the closing of its takeout and delivery restaurant, HARPER'S TO GO GO. The company's full service restaurant, HARPER'S RESTAURANT at South Park, located next door at Fairview and Sharon Roads and in its 18th year of serving Charlotte, is unaffected by this closing and will continue the take out, catering, and delivery operations offered by To Go Go in the past.

"Our lease expired at the end of the year on the current location," said Sasser. "At that time, we made a business decision to consolidate operations into the main restaurant where the To Go Go food had been being prepared all along."

Sasser emphasized that customers who have enjoyed the To Go Go cuisine will still be able to order their favorite dishes by calling or visiting Harper's Restaurant. "Because so many of the entrees offered by To Go Go came directly from the Harper's Restaurant menu, it will be easy for customers to enjoy the same great food either in the restaurant or through our take out service. We will also add curbside delivery for all guests using our take out service. In addition, our catering and delivery services will not be interrupted."
