Yiasou is the Greek word for hello and goodbye, but you can’t credit the Greeks for inspiring Lennon and McCartney to write their single “Hello, Goodbye.” Instead you can give a shout-out to the Mediterranean country for giving us everything else – drama, philosophy, democracy and geometry.
