Touring in support of its fourth full-length album, Cannibal, Charlotte death metal quartet Wretched is fresh off playing the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. The band’s brand of sleek, speed-driven metal avoids the sludge and strives more toward melody. As the band cruises toward a 10th anniversary next year, singer Adam Cody, who joined the band in 2011, is quickly becoming a focal point of its sound.
