Syrian refugees Zubair Rushk and Amira Elamri will share their stories of life in Syria and a refugee’s long road to building a life in the United States during a public conversation on April 18, at UNC Charlotte Center City as part of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences’ Witness in Residence initiative. Complimentary parking at 422 E. 9th Street with special event permit; information about obtaining a permit will be emailed to those who register a few days before the event.
