Broadway’s Wicked backtracks to the early lives of Wizard of Oz characters, Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch. It’s filled with surprises, including the ridicule that comes with being a nerdy, green colored witch who can ride a broom. Told from the perspective of a so-called villain, it’s a good time without too much Dorothy drama.
