YWCA will host the “We Are”* exhibit April 22 – May 3, which tells the story of the YWCA and its role in the Charlotte community from its founding in 1902 through present day. The exhibit focuses on many themes that have been prevalent throughout YWCA’s history with an emphasis on civil rights, racial equality and integration. It also examines more recent YWCA community-oriented programs including Women in Transition, Families Together and Youth Programs. This exhibit will be free and open to the public.
