From colonial shrubs to Dubose Heywards’ champagne punch, this presentation by Dr. Faye Jensen, CEO of the S.C. Historical Society, focuses on the alcoholic beverages popular in South Carolina through the years. Dr. Jensen discusses the everyday drinking habits of the common man as well as the appeal of finer imported wines to the colonial aristocracy.
