KITCHPICK: TROMBONE SHORTY

OK, Charlotte: My pick for this week is the Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue concert at Neighborhood Theatre on Nov. 14. Going by the stage name Trombone Shorty, Troy Andrews is an incredible horn player. His new album Say That To Say This, which he co-produced with one of my favorite producers/artists, Raphael Saadiq, is out on Verve Records. (Read more in Music.)
