Nashville-based harpist Timbre has forged her own path in the chamber folk world while finding time to collaborate with artists such as Ricky Skaggs and some guy named Jack White. Yep, she’s featured on his Lazaretto album. Her music combines classically trained vocals with a backing band that creates angelic, compelling soundscapes that are worth paying attention to for their beauty and ability to convey simple emotions.
