Well, it's not every day you have a chance to hear someone vigorously rant about the importance of proper food storage, and it's not every day you'd want to either. But from the looks of Dixie's Tupperware Party, you may want to lend an ear to Dixie Longate, the No. 1 Tupperware seller in the United States and Canada, anyway. After all, she did leave her kids in an Alabama trailer park to be where she is today, and that probably wasn't easy. Longate's performances are known for provoking good times and feature Longate's funny and personal stories, audience participation, giveaways and large assortment of ... Tupperware. The show will go down at Booth Playhouse through March 29. Contains adult language and content. $29.50 and up. March 29, 3 p.m. Booth Playhouse, 130 N. Tryon St. 704-372-1000. www.blumenthalcenter.org.
