The exhibit features sculptures by artists Betsy Birkner and Austin Ballard, who have worked as artists-in-residence at McColl since April. Using ceramics, steel, stone, glass and other found materials, the artists have created works that emphasize the interplay of surfaces and lights. Be on the lookout for some of Birkner’s signature mixed-media body armor sculptures, also on display. (Anita Overcash)
