The National Black Theatre Festival

The National Black Theatre Festival is a prominent arts and film festival founded by Larry Leon Hamlin in 1989. This festival serves to unite black theatre companies in American in order to ensure the survival of the genre in years to come. This six-day event attracts over 65,000 people every year with festivities including celebrity receptions, a midnight poetry jam, an international vendor's market and so much more!
