Theatre has a long history of courtroom comedy and drama but that motif will never be the same after CAST’s regional premiere of THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS ISCARIOT by Stephen Adly Guirgis. THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS ISCARIOT is set in a time-bending, serio-comically imagined world between Heaven and Hell where the courtroom is a surrealistic purgatory. Expect testimony from the central characters and expert witnesses such as Sigmund Freud, Satan, Mother Teresa. The wildly entertaining and thought-provoking case gives the audience the opportunity to judge for themselves what is right/wrong/good/bad and everything in-between.
