Join MPHS Theatre for the story of Buddy Layman and his friendship with disenchanted preacher, C.C. Showers, set in southern Indiana in the early 1930’s. A near drowning accident involving the death of his mother has left Buddy deathly afraid of water. While trying to discourage the town from forcing him to be a preacher, C.C. Showers opens Buddy’s eyes to a new world of possibilities and friendship.
