eBay Shenanigans: A man won an auction on eBay for a widescreen TV priced at $2,500. He sent a certified cashier's check to the person selling the TV, who in return sent an email confirming the receipt of the check and the delivery date. However, the delivery date came and went and the TV was nowhere to be seen. After the victim made numerous calls to the virtual swindler and received no response, he contacted police.

Who's That Sitting In My Car?: A motorist pulled into a convenience store parking lot and left the keys in the ignition while he ran inside to buy a pack of cigarettes. When he returned to his car, a strange woman was sitting in the driver's seat with the doors locked. As the shocked man looked on, the woman took off in his car.

Girls Gone...Litigious: A woman called police in reference to a sexual assault after she said a man walked up to her outside her apartment and asked her to lift up her shirt.

Cheech and Chong Busted: Two roommates were arrested and the following items were seized from their apartment: two marijuana plants, two "marijuana oriented" magazines, plant vitamins, a humidifier and temperature gauge. Total, the stoners' booty was valued at about $200.

Punchy Passenger: While waiting at a red traffic light, a young woman observed another car, occupied by two other females, pull up next to her. Suddenly, the woman sitting in the other car's passenger's seat got out, and punched the unsuspecting woman in the face through her open window. The punching passenger then got back into the car, and the duo drove away without further incident. The police report indicates the assault victim showed signs of swelling on her left cheek.

Identity Theft Issues: A woman living in California received a phone call from a collection agency in reference to a delinquent small business loan that was taken out in her name at a Charlotte bank. The woman indicated she has never been to North Carolina, and knows nothing about the loan.

Drunken Brawl: Two Saturday night revelers got into an altercation outside a downtown bar, during which time one of the drunken dudes tossed a brick through the other guy's car window. This didn't sit too well with the owner of the car, so he proceeded to kick and throw rocks at the other guy's car.
