Providence United Methodist Church, 2810 Providence Road, Charlotte, invites the community to the annual Blessing of the Animals service Sunday, October 13 at 2:00 p.m. All varieties of pets are welcome to share in scripture and blessings. The Blessing of the Animals service is a special and meaningful celebration that witnesses to God's and the Church's love, care and concern for creation. Note: For the safety of all, animals must be current on all vaccinations, be brought on a leash or in an animal carrier, and remain with the owner at all times.
