The Tennessee combo’s dual guitars exchange riffs and chords with the capacity to blow the roof off the room, but not in a decibel-laden barrage of noise, rather with nimble blues-based rock that floats along and rouses the amps when the blokes feel the moment. Acoustic strumming and Southern soul opens some songs while most numbers wring the strings with full-on Stones-fueled rock that fills a room from the floor to the rafters. The band merges the parts into a whole, musically and lyrically, in a manner that mingles Memphis soul with a bit of country music from the hills, all spread on a foundation of blues-rock.
