Started in 2007 by Scott McCaughey (The Young Fresh Fellows, The Minus 5) and Steve Wynn (Dream Syndicate), the Baseball Project pays tribute to, you guessed it, baseball. It’s everything from the classic “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” to tribute songs to Jackie Robinson and “A Boy Named Cy.” Oh yeah, also in the lineup are Mike Mills and Peter Buck of R.E.M.
