One thing you can't say about North Carolina-born MC Supastition is that he doesn't hustle. This week you can catch "The Franchise Player" performing with Johnny Madwreck of The Others, Ike Turnah and Big Treal at the Charles Herron album release party on Friday night, then, on Sunday, you can catch him performing with the legendary Pete Rock, Little Brother, DJ DR and Fortified at the M|O Fest 2007. The grind is nothing new for Supa, who has appeared on mixtapes by Little Brother and KRS-One. He now calls the Queen City home and has already rocked in Australia, Germany and all over N.C. this year. M|O Fest will brings together MCs, DJs, dancers, singers and musicians with big names in film, fashion, art and sports for a unique blend of lifestyles. Don't miss the Southeast premiere of Wu: The Story of The Wu-Tang Clan too. For more, check out lifestylemo.com, supastition.com or myspace.com/herron.

Charles Herron Album Release Party will take place at A Jarrell Affair at 9 p.m. on Aug. 3. Tickets are $7. M|O Fest will be held at Neighborhood Theatre on Aug. 4 and 5. Tickets are $18 in advance and $25 at the door.
