MINT MUSEUM RANDOLPH Chanel: Designs for the Modern Woman. The exhibit presents 20th and 21st century works by one of the most renowned designers of women's garments in the world. May 21-Dec. 31. Chinese Court Robes. A hierarchy of color and decoration distinguished the rank of the wearers of robes in China. Continues through Dec. 31. The Golden Age of English Art. Portraiture ranked high, but no aspect of English life was exempt from the artist's eye, which recorded the triumphs and changes in society. Continues through Dec. 31. The Heights of Fashion: Platform Shoes Then and Now. The exhibition showcases an array of diverse and unique platform shoes from the 1930's through the present. Continues through May 30. The Transformed Self: Performance Masks of Mexico. The works presented in this exhibition come from the primary mask-producing regions of Mexico where dance performances commonly accompany religious rituals and civic events. MINT MUSEUM UPTOWN Attitude and Alchemy: The Metalwork of Gary Lee Noffke. Featuring Noffke's hollowware, flatware, and jewelry, the exhibit captures the artist's rebellious nature, while examining his methodology, his evolution of style and the impact he has made on the field of metal. Continues through Sept. 11. From New York to Corrymore: Robert Henri and Ireland. The exhibit examines Henri's fascination with Irish landscape and people (particularly children), during the second half of his career. Continues through Aug. 7. Janet Biggs:Going to Extremes.
