Through October 21, Charlotte's Own-Romare Bearden Mint-organized exhibition complements the display of the David C. Driskell Collection and showcases Bearden's work in the region.

Opening August 23, Narratives of African American Art and Identity: The David C. Driskell Collection Over 100 paintings by leading African-American artists of the 19th and 20th centuries, including Edward Banister, Henry O. Tanner, Augustus Savage, Elizabeth Catlett and more. Exhibit runs through October 25.
