Theme park is celebrating its 30th season. More than 100 acres with more than 100 rides, shows and attractions for all ages. Rollercoasters, thrill rides, water rides, Animation Station children's area, Scooby Doo's Haunted Mansion. New for 2002 are Meteor Attack, Cyber Says (virtual reality adventure) rollercoaster Ricochet and the Carolina Boardwalk area that celebrates the Carolinas' coasts. Plus 13-acre Water Works water park. Weekends only through June 2; daily operation June 3-August 9. Opens daily at 10am but closing times vary. Admission is $39.99 for adults; $27.99 for children & seniors.
